The June jobs report this morning was disappointing. U.S. companies added a measly 80k jobs, and the unemployment rate continues to sit at 8.2 percent.
The jobs number has missed economists expectations for three straight months.
However, all that's in the rear view mirror.
In a brand new note to clients, Citi's Tobias Levkovich points to some forward looking job market indicators.
Intriguingly, both Manpower and NFIB surveys show that employment trends should improve going forward (see Figures 5 and 6)..
